AWS Network Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design and manage VPCs, subnets, route tables, NAT/Internet gateways, Transit Gateway, and Direct Connect
• Implement VPN (Site-to-Site, Client VPN) and hybrid connectivity between on-prem and AWS
• Configure and manage security groups, NACLs, AWS Network Firewall, and WAF
• Set up and monitor Route 53 (DNS), Load Balancers (ALB/NLB/GLB), and CloudFront
• Implement network segmentation, VPC peering, and PrivateLink for multi-account architectures
• Monitor network performance/health using CloudWatch, VPC Flow Logs, and third-party tools
• Automate network provisioning via Terraform/CloudFormation (IaC)
• Troubleshoot connectivity, latency, and routing issues across environments
• Ensure compliance with security standards (SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI as applicable)
• Collaborate with cloud architects, security, and DevOps teams on infrastructure design
• Familiarity with Cisco/Palo Alto

Required Skills

• Bachelors degree is required.
• 7+ Years of experience is required.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud
• Extensive experience in AWS Networking
• Strong expertise in VPC and Subnets
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and/or CloudFormation
• Strong understanding of AWS cloud networking architecture
• Primarily looking for AWS cloud networking experience
• On-premises networking experience is not required
• Familiarity with Cisco/Palo Alto is a plus
