Role Overview:

Responsible for providing administrative support for employee benefits, with a primary focus on 401(k) plan support. This hybrid position assists employees and hr/payroll departments with 401(k) inquiries and requests, reviews documentation, prepares contribution reports, and ensures requests are processed accurately and timely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate daily with employees and payroll departments regarding 401(k) inquiries and requests.
• Perform initial reviews of 401(k) enrollment forms, changes, distributions, loans, and hardship requests.
• Prepare Excel spreadsheets for 401(k) deferral and union contribution submissions.
• Scan, organize, and maintain documents in Laserfiche.
• Follow up on outstanding documentation and pending requests to ensure timely processing.
• Provide general administrative support for employee benefits as needed.

Requirements:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Basic Microsoft Excel knowledge.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment, splitting time between the office and remote work.
