Job Summary
Gather disparate data from various data sources; analyze and normalize to ensure data integrity for analysis. Provide consistent, relevant and accurate data as well as guidance/knowledge of the data and definitions that are available for analysis.
MajorTasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
- Serves as a resource to assigned client in area of expertise.
- Independently troubleshoot associate issues with health plan vendors and create and manage the resolutions.
- Manage the day-to-day vendor relationships.
- Oversees the leave of absence process, while working closely to answer questions related to leave of absence eligibility, assist with determining leave eligibility, designating leave as FMLA -qualifying, requesting medical certification as needed, and accounting for intermittent and reduced schedule leave use.
- Maintains reasonable communication with employees on leave to facilitate smooth and timely return to work, relays communication between employees and their managers during leave within reason.
- Advises managers and employees on the interaction of leave laws with paid time off and short-term and long-term disability benefits.
- Labor and Employee relations other leave requests, which may include accommodation requests under the ADA
- Analyzes, reports, makes comparisons to industry/company benchmarks, determines trends, and prepares cost analyses.
- Assists employees regarding benefits claim issues and plan changes.
- Coordinates the delivery of benefits and fund transfers with benefit vendors
- Supports the HR Business Partners with communication and other administrative support for benefit programs
- Participates in the development of employee benefits policies and procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned.
PreferredQualifications- Expertise in working with spreadsheets, databases benefits concepts and data.
- Exceptional HRMS knowledge. Experience in acquiring data within large multi-system enterprise environments.
- Experience with the support and development of benefits applications and systems.
- Project management experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and internet research.
- Strong knowledge in utilizing spreadsheets, databases, and HR Systems to manage, analyze, and maintain benefits and leave related data.
- Experience with HRIS systems (Workday), benefits platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, state leave laws, disability programs, and employee benefits administration.
- Experience with HRIS systems (Workday), benefits platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential employee information.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and internet research.
