Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Lead Medical Assistant (Spanish Speaking) to join our growing healthcare team. In this leadership role, you will help drive clinic operations, support staff development, and ensure every patient receives outstanding care and service.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Staff Development

  • Provide training and ongoing guidance to staff on EPIC workflows, clinic procedures, and patient care standards.
  • Serve as a role model by maintaining strong knowledge of clinic operations and multi-functional responsibilities.
  • Support staff development through coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback.
  • Assist leadership with performance evaluations and corrective action processes when needed.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Clinic Operations & Workflow Management

  • Support daily clinic operations to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality service delivery.
  • Monitor inventory levels of medical supplies and coordinate restocking as needed.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinic environment.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and assist in implementing workflow improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with clinic policies, procedures, and healthcare standards.

Patient Care & Customer Service

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and families.
  • Address patient concerns professionally, compassionately, and promptly.
  • Communicate effectively through in-person interactions, phone calls, email, and chart documentation.
  • Support a positive patient experience by creating a respectful and welcoming atmosphere.

Administrative & Documentation Support

  • Accurately maintain patient information within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
  • Assist with scheduling, patient intake, documentation, and coordination of care.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of required reports and clinic records.


Requirements

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (spoken and written).
  • Previous experience as a:
    • Medical Assistant
    • Medical Office Coordinator
    • Healthcare Administrator
    • Or similar healthcare support role.
  • Experience using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare operations, team leadership, or clinic coordination.
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field.
  • Experience working in multi-provider or high-volume clinic settings.
