Diaz Foods is seeking an experienced and results-driven Retail Inside Sales Representative to lead our Retail Sales Department. This leadership role is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the retail sales team, driving revenue growth, developing top sales talent, and ensuring exceptional customer service while maintaining strong relationships with key accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the daily operations of the Retail Sales Department.
• Drive sales growth and achieve departmental sales and profitability goals.
• Recruit, coach, train, and develop high-performing Account Managers.
• Monitor individual and team performance while providing ongoing coaching and support.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
• Resolve customer concerns and collaborate with internal departments to ensure excellent service.
• Conduct daily sales meetings and coordinate weekly vendor presentations.
• Approve customer pickup requests and oversee emergency order coordination.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, and employee development.
• Review competitor activity, market trends, and recommend business improvements.
• Manage departmental payroll, PTO, and administrative functions.
• Promote compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous management experience in retail sales, food distribution, or wholesale sales preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Outstanding customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer applications.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
