    Location: Brooklyn, NY
    Compensation: $80,000 - $110,000

    About the role

    A stable, well-established product business in Brooklyn is looking for a Bookkeeper to join its finance team. The company has been around for 50 years, has about 150 employees, and has a great team and a strong, steady culture.

    There are a lot of moving pieces here. You will own the day-to-day books, keep the accounting side running smoothly, and work directly with the CFO to solve problems together.

    What you'll do

    • Handle day-to-day bookkeeping.
    • Complete bank reconciliations.
    • Oversee the accounts payable person, acting as the AP manager.
    • Handle payroll.
    • Work closely with the CFO to identify issues and solve them together.

    Who we're looking for

    • 1 to 3 years of bookkeeping experience.
    • Organized and detail-oriented.
    • Good people skills, comfortable working with a team and with senior leadership.
    • Real interest in bookkeeping and in growing in the role.
