HumanHire has partnered with a prestigious top mid-sized law firm in Austin to find a Business Development Manager to join their growing team!
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving business development strategy, regional growth, pitch/RFP execution, and marketing initiatives for the firm's Texas and West Coast offices and key practice groups.

Responsibilities:
Serve as the lead marketing contact for the Austin, San Francisco, and Seattle offices to develop, track, and advance business development plans and manage marketing budgets
Lead RFP responses, pitch meeting preparation, and outcome tracking across assigned practice and industry groups
Facilitate regular business development meetings with office attorneys and group leaders to provide strategic guidance, lawyer coaching, and market insights
Oversee office- and practice-initiated events, association engagements, sponsorships, and promotional material production in collaboration with marketing and communications teams
Conduct market research, trendspotting, and competitor analysis to identify short- and long-term growth opportunities and assist with firm strategic plan initiatives
Qualifications:
Minimum 5+ years of law firm business development experience, with demonstrated leadership in RFP responses and pitch presentations
Strong knowledge of the Texas legal market (West Coast legal market knowledge preferred)
Familiarity with environmental law/practice groups (or the ability to learn quickly) and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
