The RolePresidio is looking for a driven, relationship-oriented Business Development Manager to grow our Carrier and Colocation Solutions practice. You'll own a portfolio of accounts, build lasting client relationships, and bring in new business by connecting customers with the right mix of telecom, managed services, cloud, and voice solutions. This is a high-impact, client-facing role at the intersection of technology and business strategy — with real ownership, a collaborative team, and the backing of a global digital services leader. We empower businesses—and their customers—to achieve more through innovation, automation, and intelligent insights.Client Engagement & Business DevelopmentAssess clients' telecom, carrier, colocation, voice, data, managed services, and cloud requirementsPosition and sell Presidio and partner solutions that create measurable valueDeliver compelling solution presentations and product demonstrationsBuild trusted advisor relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholdersIdentify and develop new opportunities within existing accounts and net-new prospectsDrive a disciplined sales strategy focused on matching clients to the right solutionsDevelop a deep understanding of customers' buying cycles and business prioritiesConsistently meet or exceed monthly revenue goalsMaintain accurate pipeline and forecasting data using internal sales toolsAccount ManagementManage sales objectives including orders and billing to support accounting cyclesKeep account information current and proactively resolve customer issuesPrepare quotes and coordinate with inside sales support for accurate order processingPartner with engineering teams to scope and design tailored solutionsParticipate in weekly sales calls and commit calls — prepared and accountableAttend trade shows, industry events, and marketing initiativesMentor and support new hires as the team scalesPursue ongoing training, emerging tech education, and partner certificationsChampion Presidio's culture, values, and brand in every client interactionRequired Skills and Professional Experience3–5 years of demonstrated sales success, ideally in carrier network services, colocation or UCAASExperience selling Cloud and/or Managed Services solutionsEstablished relationships with national carriers and a track record building strategic client solutionsFamiliarity with solutions from Cisco, Avaya, Amazon, Microsoft, or major telecom carriersBachelor's degree or equivalent experience (military experience welcome)Recent mid-market experience with an active client network in a defined territoryPreferred Skills and Professional ExperienceStrong active listening and communication skills — verbal, written, and presentationCritical thinking and sound judgment in complex, fast-moving sales situationsExcellent time management and ability to juggle multiple accounts and prioritiesPersuasive and confident in front of senior stakeholders and C‑suite buyersCollaborative mindset — you work well across departments and organizational levelsCreative problem-solver with both analytical and people-focused instinctsAny experience with Collaboration or Contact center would be ideal.Presidio has a strong commitment to the community we serve and our employees.
