Founded in 2005, we partner with lenders, insurers, and dealers to create a valuable buying experience for new and used vehicles.The OpportunityWe are seeking a high‑impact, revenue‑driven sales professional to accelerate dealer network growth and portfolio expansion. The Business Development Manager will be accountable for revenue growth, relationship management, dealer acquisition, and territory expansion within an assigned portfolio.Reporting to the Director of Dealer Services, you will penetrate dealer groups, close market coverage gaps, and deliver sustained, measurable revenue growth. You will build and lead executive‑level relationships, align TrueCar solutions to dealer growth strategies, and drive strategic revenue expansion across assigned accounts.Ideal Candidate Location – Resident of Florida, working in a territory that spans Alabama, Florida, and southern Georgia.How You'll Drive SuccessOwn and exceed assigned revenue and growth targets.Drive revenue through dealer group penetration, dealer acquisition, and territory expansion.Serve as the primary growth partner and executive relationship owner within assigned accounts.Identify and close incremental revenue opportunities across both new and existing dealer partners.Develop and execute a focused territory growth plan aligned with market coverage objectives.Build and maintain a healthy forward‑looking pipeline aligned to revenue goals.Establish and strengthen executive‑level relationships with Dealer Principals, General Managers, and group leadership.Lead negotiations, structure proposals, and close agreements that drive measurable growth.Partner with Account Management and Dealer Performance teams to ensure successful onboarding and revenue realization.Maintain disciplined forecasting, pipeline visibility, and CRM accuracy within Salesforce.Your ExpertiseProven track record of exceeding revenue targets in a growth‑focused sales role.Demonstrated success in generating revenue growth and expanding existing portfolios.Experience owning executive‑level relationships and driving commercial growth within assigned accounts.Experience working with multi‑location dealership groups or automotive retail organizations preferred.Strong executive presence with the ability to influence, negotiate, and close at senior levels.Experience selling SaaS, digital marketplace, advertising, or automotive technology solutions preferred.Strong territory planning, prospecting, and pipeline management skills.Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.High integrity, strong work ethic, and self‑starter mentality.Ability and willingness to travel domestically by car and by airplane for overnight trips up to 75% of the time.Benefits100% employer‑paid health, vision, and dental premiums; 401(k) plan with company contributions; wellness reimbursement account; learning and development reimbursement; flexible PTO for exempt workers and generous accrual for non‑exempt workers; 14 company‑paid holidays plus 2 floating holidays.Pay Range128,000 – 165,000 USD per yearWebsite Employment PracticesWe welcome a workforce that reflects the diversity of car‑buying consumers and encourage everyone interested in our mission to apply.
