You'll: • Prospect and generate new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, and industry relationships • Build trusted partnerships with property managers, facility leaders, developers, boards, and procurement teams • Conduct site walks and needs assessments to understand client goals, scopes, and service requirements • Present customized landscaping, exterior maintenance, and seasonal service solutions • Lead negotiations and confidently close deals with decision-makers • Prepare proposals, pricing, and responses to RFPs • Maintain a strong, organized sales pipeline using CRM tools • Collaborate with estimating and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and exceptional service delivery • Stay current on market trends, competitors, and green industry best practices • Represent the company at networking events, trade shows, and client appreciation events.
Qualifications include:
• 3+ years of business development or sales experience (exterior services / landscaping preferred) • Proven success closing high-value commercial contracts • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills • Ability to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) • CRM experience preferred • Valid driver's license and ability to travel (-10%).
