Constellation Search Group is looking for a Staffing Sales Representative / Business Development Manager. This role involves expanding the contract staffing business by identifying new clients, nurturing existing accounts, and selling workforce solutions for contract, contract-to-hire, and project-based needs. The position requires building relationships with hiring managers, HR leaders, and executives to effectively address their staffing challenges and deliver qualified contract talent swiftly. The ideal candidate possesses experience in staffing sales and excels in a competitive sales environment to create long-term client partnerships.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop new business through various methods such as outbound prospecting, cold calling, email campaigns, and networking.
  • Sell staffing solutions including contract, contract-to-hire to a diverse client base.
  • Identify potential companies with hiring needs and build relationships with key decision makers across various departments.
  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand client needs and hiring priorities.
  • Qualify job orders by gathering detailed information on requirements and expectations.
  • Collaborate closely with recruiting teams to ensure successful candidate submissions.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to client onboarding and contractor start.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients and ongoing opportunities.
  • Lead negotiations on bill rates, contract terms, and agreements, in alignment with leadership.
  • Keep accurate records of sales activities and updates in CRM/ATS systems.
  • Develop account plans to expand client partnerships across additional opportunities.
  • Stay informed on market trends and staffing challenges to effectively support client needs.
  • Represent the company professionally to enhance its service-oriented reputation.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in sales, business development, account management, or staffing.
  • Proven experience in selling contract staffing.
  • Ability to establish relationships with business decision makers.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable with making outbound calls and conducting virtual or in-person meetings.
  • Capable of understanding client hiring needs for recruiting teams.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Experience with CRM, ATS, and tools like LinkedIn or Salesforce preferred.
  • Self-motivated, competitive, and comfortable with a performance-driven environment.
