Reporting into senior commercial leadership, the Business Development Manager will lead efforts to identify, evaluate, and convert new market opportunities across the United States. This is a true new-business-focused position with an emphasis on market expansion, strategic prospecting, and developing commercial opportunities from the ground up. Key responsibilities include:
Identify and pursue new markets, applications, and customer segments that support long-term business growth.
Develop and execute business development strategies that expand the company's presence within industrial manufacturing sectors.
Build relationships with procurement leaders, engineers, operational stakeholders, and executive decision-makers.
Create and manage a robust pipeline of growth opportunities from qualification through commercial implementation.
Lead complex sales and commercialization initiatives involving multiple internal stakeholders.
Develop customer and market strategies based on competitive intelligence, industry trends, and customer needs.
Collaborate with technical, operations, logistics, supply chain, and commercial teams to ensure successful execution of growth initiatives.
Support value-based selling through pricing strategies, margin analysis, and business case development.
Maintain visibility of pipeline activity, growth initiatives, and market intelligence through regular reporting and CRM management.
Travel nationally as needed to support customer engagement, business development activities, and market expansion efforts.
Join a global manufacturing leader investing heavily in commercial expansion while benefiting from a competitive compensation package, bonus opportunity, remote flexibility, and direct exposure to executive leadership. This is a rare opportunity to own market development from the ground up. Rather than inheriting an established book of business, you'll have the autonomy to identify new opportunities, open new markets, and directly influence the company's long-term growth strategy.
