POSITION PURPOSE The Business Development & Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and converting qualified leads into paying clients. This role plays a critical part in expanding HGO's client base, increasing brand visibility, and supporting long-term company growth.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Lead Generation & ProspectingProactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking events, partnerships, referrals, online platforms, etc.Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads aligned with HGO's ideal client profileConduct outreach to prospective residential and commercial clientsConsistently follow up with inbound inquiries to maximize conversion opportunitiesDevelop and maintain strategic partnerships within related industries, including real estate, interior design, luxury services, wellness, and hospitalityMaintain records of leads, consultations, and client communication through CRM and tracking systemsKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)Response time to inbound leadsNumber of consultations bookedLead-to-client conversion rateSales revenue generatedMonthly outreach and prospecting activitySales Strategy & ExecutionCollaborate directly with the Founder to implement and refine business development and sales strategiesSupport the growth of the HGO brand through strategic marketing and relationship-building initiativesDevelop customized sales pitches, proposals, presentations, and service recommendations tailored to client needsIdentify opportunities to improve customer acquisition, sales systems, and client experienceAssist Founder with pricing conversations, contract administration, and onboarding processesClient Engagement & ClosingLead discovery calls, consultations, and follow-up communication with prospective clientsEffectively communicate HGO's value, services, and transformation processManage the full sales cycle from initial outreach through signed contractBuild trust-based relationships with clients while delivering a high-touch and elevated customer experienceConfidently present organizing and design solutions while aligning services with client goals and budgetsMarket Research & Industry AwarenessStay informed on trends within the professional organizing, interior design, luxury home service, and lifestyle industriesMonitor competitor offerings, pricing structures, and market positioningIdentify opportunities for strategic partnerships, service expansion, and brand differentiationProvide ongoing insights and recommendations that support company growth and innovationReporting & AccountabilityParticipate in weekly check-ins to review pipeline progress, sales goals, and opportunitiesSubmit monthly and quarterly performance reportsUtilize sales analytics and performance metrics to improve processes and optimize resultsMaintain professionalism, responsiveness, and strong communication with the HGO teamQUALIFICATIONS Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related fieldPrevious experience in sales, business development, client relations, or account managementExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal and relationship-building abilitiesHighly organized with strong time management and follow-through skillsSelf-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independentlyAbility to manage multiple leads and ongoing client communication effectivelyProficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and CRM systemsPassion for organization, interior design, lifestyle services, or wellness-focused businessesPreferred QualificationsExperience in interior design, professional organizing, luxury services, hospitality, wellness, or real estate industriesExisting network or connections within home, commercial, or lifestyle sectorsFamiliarity with social selling, networking strategy, and partnership developmentStrong visual and aesthetic awareness with the ability to confidently speak about design-oriented servicesCOMPENSATION & TERMS This is a 1099 independent contractor position offering flexible scheduling and remote work opportunities.Compensation Structure10% commission for closing company-provided inbound leads20% commission for independently sourced outbound leads that result in signed contractsAdditional commission incentives may be offered for high-margin projects, strategic partnerships, or premium service packagesUncapped earning potentialPerformance IncentivesHGO values strong performance and long-term growth.
