The Opportunity
As a Caregiver with Advantage Home Care, you will make a living by making a real difference in people’s lives. Our full-time caregivers earn $37,000–$42,000 per year while providing one-on-one care that helps seniors stay independent at home.
This is a strong fit if you are dependable, patient, and want a role where your kindness and reliability are appreciated every day. You will build ongoing relationships with your clients and become a trusted part of their daily lives.
What You'll Do
- Help clients with daily personal care needs such as bathing, grooming, and hygiene so they can stay safe and comfortable at home.
- Prepare simple, nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping to keep the home clean, orderly, and safe.
- Support clients with errands, note taking, and routine tasks that make day-to-day living easier and more organized.
- Follow each client’s care plan and communicate observations or concerns so care remains appropriate and consistent.
- Travel between client homes as assigned, arriving on time, documenting visits using your cell phone, and representing Advantage Home Care with professionalism and respect.
What Success Looks Like
- Within your first few months, you reliably follow care plans, arrive on time, and maintain strong attendance, earning positive feedback from clients and families.
- You build trusting relationships with clients by treating them with dignity, respect, and patience, helping them feel safe and supported in their own homes.
- You demonstrate good judgment, promptly reporting changes in client condition and working closely with the office team to adjust care as needed.
- You manage your time well between tasks and client visits, accurately clocking in and out on your phone and completing required documentation.
What We're Looking For
- Caring, friendly, and dependable people who genuinely enjoy helping elderly individuals live independently.
- At least 6 months of work experience in any job, with two good references that can speak to your reliability and character.
- A clean background check, valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a cell phone for timekeeping.
- Comfort with personal care tasks (such as bathing and grooming), light housekeeping, meal preparation, and running errands.
Compensation and Benefits
- Full-time caregivers earn $37,000–$42,000 per year
- Paid training (small classes and online), sick leave, health insurance after 90 days, PTO and 401(k) after one year
