Carpenter

TalentLogistiX is seeking experienced Skilled Carpenters to join our team for commercial construction projects throughout the Marion County area. The ideal candidate will have strong carpentry skills, the ability to read blueprints and plans, and experience completing projects safely, accurately, and efficiently.

Location: Indianapolis, IN + Marion County surrounding areas

Pay Rate: $28.00 – $40.00 / hour – Depending On Exp

**Travel opportunities may be available based on project needs, with per diem available for qualifying travel assignments more than 50 miles from the primary work location.**

Skilled Carpenter Responsibilities:

• Perform rough and finish carpentry work on construction and renovation projects
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
• Measure, cut, and install wood and other building materials
• Construct, install, and repair framing, doors, trim, cabinetry, and other structures
• Perform drywall, siding, flooring, and general finish work as needed
• Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Complete repairs, modifications, and punch-list work
• Maintain quality workmanship and attention to detail
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
• Follow all company and OSHA safety requirements
• Work independently and as part of a construction team

Skilled Carpenter Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional carpentry experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of carpentry methods, materials, and construction practices
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
• Proficient with common hand and power tools
• Strong measuring, layout, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work safely on ladders, lifts, and uneven surfaces
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding work
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• OSHA 10 certification is a plus
