Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and hard-working Cashier to join our team! As a Cashier, you will ring up sales, take payments, and issue receipts using a Clover payment system. You will provide excellent customer service by greeting and helping customers and ensuring all transactions run smoothly. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in customer service and knowledge of cash register operation. 

Responsibilities 

• Greet each customer with a smile and actively assist while they are shopping
• Work the register to ring up sales and complete transactions
• Collect payments by cash and credit card
• Wrap fragile merchandise and box or bag orders
• Participate in product promotion events and initiatives to drive sales
• Stay familiarized with product inventory to assist customers with their selections
• Help maintain store appearance
• Assist with product pricing
• First shift: open the store and turn on all displays
• Second shift: run closeout reports and close the store

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, count, write, and communicate clearly and effectively
• Understanding of sales techniques and best practices in customer service
• Willingness to work well in a team environment
• Ability to quickly and accurately work a register
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule
• Valid drivers license
• Reliable transportation
