At MORE Physical Therapy, Inc. our passion is empowering people to return to play, return to work and return to life! We currently have an opportunity for a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to work in a clinical setting in the Rosegarden area and with a professional team of athletes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide athletic training services including emergency care; injury prevention and wellness education; and consultations for acute and chronic injuries.
- Make referrals to physicians and/or physical therapists for further assessment and treatment as needed.
- Provide coverage both on-site and away for practices and competitions.
- Ensure emergency preparedness at all practices and competitions.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and coaching staff regarding return-to-play decisions.
- Maintain a safe environment at the home and away venues.
- Follow applicable HIPAA guidelines to assure the confidentiality of athlete medical records.
This is a full time position and will require weekends, evenings and travel.
When not working with the team, full time hours will be in our clinic setting as a Physical Therapy Aide in addition to ATC duties. All Aide responsibilities are carried out under the direct supervision of a Physical Therapist and include:
- Assist Patients with exercises and the proper use of gym equipment
- Provide routine modalities such as electronic stimulation and ultra sound
- Prepare treatment rooms for patients; set up and take down equipment
Requirements:
- NATABOC certification
- CPR/AED certification
- Successful completion of a background check
