Job Description
Team1Medical is seeking a dependable, patient-focused Certified Medical Assistant to support an orthopedic clinic in the Houston Medical Center. This temporary position provides maternity leave coverage and requires working at the clinic’s Bellaire location on Mondays
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for examinations, obtain vital signs, and document medical histories.
- Assist providers with orthopedic examinations and in-office procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical record system.
- Prepare and stock examination rooms and clinical supplies.
- Support patient communication and coordinate follow-up care as directed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous Medical Assistant experience; orthopedic experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and patient service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy clinic.
- Availability to work at the Bellaire location every Monday.
- All immunizations must be up to date.
- Current CPR
- Must have national Medical Assistant certification
