CNA Responsibilities & Duties

As a Certified Nursing Assistant with Senior Helpers, you will provide vital direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) in a one-on-one home setting:

• Assist clients with personal care, bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene needs.

• Support safe transfers, ambulation, and fall prevention utilizing assistive devices (walkers, transfer belts, etc.).

• Observe client physical and cognitive changes, documenting daily care logs and communicating updates directly to office management.

• Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and vital sign monitoring as assigned in the care plan.

• Provide compassionate, respectful companionship while maintaining patient dignity and independence.

CNA Position Requirements

• Active South Carolina Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in good standing.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

• Valid South Carolina driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and active auto insurance.

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

• Strong communication skills, professional reliability, and a passion for hands-on patient care.
