CGP: Construction Accounting Manager

Century Group is parenting with our leading client in construction for an Accounting Manager. You'll oversee daily operations within the accounting department, collaborate with the financial management team, and drive process improvements. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $34 to $40 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll, utilities, and more.
  
• Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce financial reports and statements.
  
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
  
• Coordinate and complete annual audits.
  
• Provide recommendations for system enhancements and initiate corrective actions.
  
• Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  
• Meet financial accounting objectives.
  
• Maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
  

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  
• Proven working experience as an Accounting Manager or similar role.
  
• Advanced computer skills (MS Office, accounting software, and databases).
  
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  
• Ability to supervise and direct.
