SRE Engineering is seeking a Chemical Process Safety Management/Risk Management Program (PSM/RMP) Manager for an upcoming NYC DEP infrastructure project.
What you'll do
- Prepare contract documents that clearly define PSM and RMP requirements for the project
- Manage and mitigate chemical exposure risks to operational, managerial, and construction staff, as well as the public, throughout construction, start-up, and close-out
- Keep PSM and RMP requirements current and updated as needed for the duration of the contract
- Coordinate with the EHS Officer and Construction Manager on chemical safety protocols specific to the site
What you bring
- Experience with Process Safety Management and Risk Management Program requirements on water/wastewater or industrial sites; DEP preferred
- Working knowledge of chemical handling, storage, and exposure controls in a construction environment
- Ability to translate PSM/RMP requirements into clear contract language and field procedures
- Reliable personal vehicle required, as this role requires site travel
