As Chief Financial Officer, you will lead MnCIFAs financial strategy and operations, including budgeting, forecasting, audits, cash flow, and financial reporting. As a newly established state agency, this role offers a rare opportunity to build financial systems, establish internal controls, and shape the agencys long-term success.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serve as a member of the executive team, supporting the Executive Director through enterprise decision-making and providing financial leadership to inform fiscal, human resource, and risk management decisions.
- Oversee internal controls, financial systems, budgeting, cash flow, audits, and tax filings.
- Partner with the Legislature, philanthropic organizations, and public and private funders to expand MnCIFAs capitalization.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework.
- Supervise finance staff, ensuring effective performance and equitable administration of labor agreements and personnel practices.
