FULL DESCRIPTION: The CFO will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for all financial operations, strategy, and performance management. This role is ideal for a candidate with turnaround experience or a passion for driving financial and operational transformation in healthcare settings. The CFO will work closely with the CEO, Board, and senior leadership to optimize resources, strengthen financial performance, and enable the hospital to deliver high-quality care to the community.
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis to guide decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial performance, operational efficiency, and revenue cycle management.
- Lead initiatives to streamline processes, reduce costs, and optimize resource allocation.
- Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to ensure financial sustainability while maintaining high standards of patient care.
- Drive change in areas requiring turnaround expertise, including underperforming departments or cost centers.
- Provide timely and transparent financial reporting to the Board of Directors and executive leadership.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO on strategic initiatives, growth opportunities, and risk management.
- Partner with external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, auditors, and community leaders.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation across the organization.
The selected candidate will also possess:
- Proven CFO or senior finance leadership experience in healthcare, ideally in community hospitals or regional health systems.
- Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, revenue cycle management, and financial reporting.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical skills, and executive presence.
- Ability to collaborate with clinical and operational teams to achieve organizational goals.
- CPA, MBA, or advanced degree preferred but not required; equivalent experience considered.
Salary Range: $250,000.00 - $350,000.00/year
