Shape the next chapter of growth at Baskervill. We're seeking a strategic, collaborative Chief Marketing Officer to lead our integrated marketing and business development functions and strengthen how we position brand, build client relationships, compete for meaningful work and grow across markets and offices. As Baskervill's marketing and growth executive, the CMO will operate as an integral member of the firm's leadership structure, with direct access to executive and practice leadership. Interested? What you'll lead:

• Firmwide growth strategy and annual and long-range marketing and business development planning aligned with Baskervill's strategic and financial goals.
• Brand evolution, governance, and activation, including the firm's ongoing brand strategy initiative.
• Integrated communications and visibility across public relations, thought leadership, digital marketing, executive visibility, industry engagement, and organizational change.
• A coordinated business development approach that strengthens priority client relationships, seller-doer engagement, pipeline management, and opportunity forecasting.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO, COO, Board, and practice leadership on market positioning, growth opportunities, and organizational priorities.
• The structure and development of a high-performing marketing and business development team, with clear roles, priorities, accountability, and resource planning.
• Market intelligence, CRM, analytics, budgets, and performance measures that support informed executive decisions and continuous improvement.

What you'll bring:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent extensive experience in marketing, communications, or business development.
• 12-15+ years of progressively responsible leadership experience in marketing, BD, or strategic growth, including senior executive or firmwide leadership responsibilities.
• Professional services experience required; architecture, engineering, design, or related AEC industry experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated success developing and executing integrated marketing, brand, BD, and growth strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
• Proven experience advising executive leadership, leading organizational change, and translating business strategy into actionable priorities and measurable outcomes.
• Demonstrated experience building high-performing teams, establishing effective business development and pursuit processes, and managing strategic budgets and investments.

• Annual salary of $120,000-$170,000, based on experience and skills

While the range shown provides an overview of the expected compensation for this role, the salary ultimately offered will reflect the selected candidate's unique qualifications, experience, and overall fit, as well as internal compensation practices and market trends.
