Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster - California | 100% Remote

Join EMPLOYERS, America's small business insurance specialist! We're seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster II to manage moderate‑complexity claims-including medical, indemnity, and litigation-while delivering exceptional service.

This role supports West Coast hours (M-F, 8am-5pm Pacific Time).

What You'll Do

• Manage workers' compensation claims from start to closure.
• Investigate claims, determine compensability, and set accurate reserves.
• Coordinate medical care and monitor return‑to‑work progress.
• Evaluate and pay benefits in compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with defense counsel and proactively mitigate legal exposure.
• Provide outstanding communication and customer service throughout the claim lifecycle.

What You Bring

• 1-7 years of workers' compensation claims or insurance experience.
• Strong analytical, decision‑making, and multitasking skills.
• Solid understanding of workers' comp statutes and compliance.
• High school diploma required; bachelor''s degree preferred.
• WCCP, AIC, ARM, CPCU or similar certifications preferred.

Work Environment

• 100% Remote (U.S. only)
• Must have a quiet, private workspace
• Occasional travel for meetings
• Salary: $60,000-$92,000+ robust benefits package
