Title: Client Services Specialist
Location: Remote, though CST timezone is helpful

Shift Schedule: 7-3:30 PST during training, then moves to 8-4:30 PST after
Reason for Opening: Backfill temp that was previously with the team
The Client Services Specialist is responsible for managing patient and insurance accounts by researching, resolving, and following up on billing issues and claim denials. This role serves as a key point of contact for patients and insurance carriers, ensuring timely resolution of account discrepancies and maximizing reimbursement.
Key Responsibilities
Communicate with patients and insurance companies regarding billing inquiries, claim status, and payment issues.
Research and resolve denied, rejected, or underpaid claims.
Submit claim corrections, appeals, and supporting documentation as needed.
Follow up on outstanding accounts to ensure timely reimbursement.
Document account activity and maintain accurate records in billing systems.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex billing issues.
Ensure compliance with payer requirements, company policies, and HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
1-3 years of healthcare billing, insurance follow-up, or revenue cycle experience.
Knowledge of medical claims, denials management, and insurance processes.
Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with billing systems and Microsoft Office applications.
