CNC Operator

Job Title: CNC Lathe Operator (Machine Operator)

Pay & Benefits (Contract-to-Hire):

$18.00/hr starting pay

Hours & Location:

1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:00am–4:30pm (4-day workweek)
Cleveland, OH (West Side)
Lunch and break provided

Job Responsibilities:

Load/unload raw material and finished parts on a CNC lathe
Start, monitor, and maintain consistent machine cycles
Measure parts using micrometers and calipers to confirm thickness/diameter
Inspect for defects and verify parts meet specs
Keep the area organized and help maintain a steady, repeatable process

Required Qualifications:

Manufacturing experience with machine operation (CNC experience preferred)
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently after training
Able to lift/move up to 40 lbs
Comfortable with repetitive work and standing in one spot for long periods
Reliable attendance and interest in a long-term role

Workplace & Culture:
You’ll be part of a smaller, team-oriented shop producing welded steel rings used in aerospace turbine engine applications. The environment is steady, quality-focused, and built around long-term employment—not micromanagement. Dress code: jeans/t-shirt. Steel-toe boots required.
