Commercial Construction Project Delivery Lead

Step into a senior role where you orchestrate the full lifecycle of commercial building projects. From early planning and development to the first shovel in the ground and the final handoff, you’ll be the conductor ensuring everything comes together on time and to standard.

A day in the life

Your morning might start with a project kickoff call, aligning internal teams and external partners on scope, schedule, and risk. Midweek, you’re on site—2–3 days each week—walking the work, briefing field personnel, and validating progress. Afternoons are for steering the moving parts: updating schedules, coordinating procurement, and unblocking issues with designers, trade partners, and owners.

What you’ll lead

• End-to-end delivery of commercial construction projects—from planning and development through groundbreaking to completion and closeout.
• Multi-stakeholder coordination across internal teams and external partners, aligning priorities and decisions in real time.
• Simultaneous management of several active projects, each with many interdependent workstreams.

Reporting line

Reports To: President of GMCA, Inc. or Operations Manager, or Senior Project Manager

Travel

Expect regular jobsite presence 2–3 days per week for personnel leadership, issue resolution, and progress reviews.

About the role

This is a senior position that interfaces daily with owners, architects/engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal leadership. Success means keeping many moving parts synchronized while driving execution from concept through completion.
