Commercial Loan Administrative Assistants provide clerical and secretarial support to commercial lenders while providing prompt, courteous customer service to borrowers. This position requires handling complex transactions in a timely fashion and with accuracy.
- Accurately preparing loan documentation and ensuring all documentation is in order prior to closing.
- Effective and tactful communication with customers, appraisers and other business related parties while maintaining respectable public relations in the handling of complicated issues.
- Processing loan payments and advances.
- Reviewing and mailing loan notices.
- Balancing of various accounts.
- Prompt filing of lien instruments including UCCs & mortgages.
- Scanning, uploading and auditing loan documents, including ongoing financial and servicing documentation.
- Perform data entry and update loan files with accurate information
- Coordinate loan closings and ensure all paperwork is completed and signed correctly
- Manage loan documentation and maintain accurate records
- Providing back up for other loan support positions and related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 2+ Years loan processing and operations experience.
- Customer Service skills, including phone, email and face-to-face.
- Computer Proficiency, including using Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word & Outlook.
