Communications Manager, Nature
Major Function
The Bezos Earth Fund is accelerating progress toward a more equitable, sustainable, and climate-resilient world. We are seeking a Communications Manager to support its nature portfolio, which spans conservation, species recovery, landscape restoration, and food systems transformation. They should be able to dive deeply into complex subject matters, think creatively, and identify compelling stories across a broad grant portfolio to deliver results across various channels – including press, events, social, and emerging channels. They should feel comfortable and have proven experience working with media, influencers, and other advocates to reach audiences where they are.
The Communications Manager will work closely with program colleagues and grantee partners, helping tell a coherent story about the Bezos Earth Fund’s nature work across individual grants and initiatives, as well as broader stories about the areas in which Bezos Earth Fund is working. They should be able to provide counsel to senior leaders, be comfortable staffing leadership at events, during interviews, or other activities. This person should be able to work autonomously while collaborating closely with colleagues and external partners.
