Complex Sales Manager – Dual Brand Hampton Inn/Home2 Suites by Hilton Join our team as a Complex Sales Manager at the Hampton Inn/Home2 Suites by Hilton – Tampa Downtown Channel District The Complex Sales Manager networks with potential clients, manages large accounts, works to maintain a loyal customer base, and executes hotel sales, marketing and revenue management strategies. Working with the Complex Director of Sales, the Complex Sales Manager is responsible for bringing new business to the establishment in addition to maintaining relationships with existing customers to support the hotel’s financial goals. Essential Functions: - Understand the competitive landscape and position the hotel to secure business that meets or exceeds revenue expectations and profit goals.
- Solicit, negotiate, and book new and repeat clients using multiple channels such as social media, outside calls, telemarketing, and networking events.
- Connect with people in a meaningful way, continually innovating to expand the reach with key corporate, business, and travel industry accounts.
- Tap into community organizations to elevate the hotels’ market share awareness and drive further business.
- Actively participate in revenue management meetings and sales strategy discussions.
- Capture the client’s vision and effectively communicate the specifications to appropriate departments. Rapidly respond to inquiries, concerns, and issues, ensuring an exceptional client experience and repeat future sales.
- Anticipate results of change and events in the market that create business opportunities.
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales plans and strategies to achieve revenue goals for the hotel.
- Meet or exceed sales and catering goals.
Skills and Experience required: - One to two years in a related position in the hospitality industry.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Proficient in CRM, specifically Delphi, and PMS experience with Hilton PEP and OnQ R&I
- Willing and able to travel
Education Required: - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience
