Review product specifications to determine associated attributes and identify any missing information. Associated attributes include material, application, and design group owner for about 3000 parts.
Develop detailed spreadsheet(s) identifying attributes for each part number.
Responsibility can include to coordinate between Customer and Quest teams on requisition engineering tasks.
Required Skills
Knowledge of Gas Turbines / Steam Turbines / Generators components and accessories.
Extensive experience reviewing product drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of Product Life cycle Management (PLM) using applications such as Teamcenter/ ENOVIA.
Ability to independently drive customer meetings and working with global teams, defining priority, performing reviews, and working cross functional coordination with other departments engineers.
Good hands-on experience with MS Excel functionalities.
Good communication skills - both written and spoken.
Ability to quickly learn and execute with minimum guidance.
Experience in project management is a plus.
Proficiency in CAD (AutoCAD/NX), PLM (Teamcenter/Enovia/Similar) and MS project and office tools desired.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or another related field.
1 to 3 years of experience in PLM.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.
Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.
Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9 AM to 4 PM
