    We are a full service fire sprinkler contractor that offers layout, design, fabrication, and installation for nearly every type of wet and dry sprinkler system, as well as a full range of specialty systems. Additionally, we also design and install fire pumps, standpipes, and fire water storage tanks, and perform various types of fire-related inspections.

    Job Summary

    Dalmatian Fire is looking for a full-time Construction Delivery Driver to add to our Team. In this role you would be responsible for inspecting, loading/unloading, and delivery of fire protection related construction material and supplies to our construction job sites. This role is essential for efficient and well-supplied field operations.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    • Inspect supplies for accuracy, damage, and conformity to work orders.
    • Safe and proper operation of equipment and vehicles required to load/unload, secure, and deliver tools/equipment, material and supplies. Types of equipment and vehicles include but are not limited to pallet jacks, forklifts, vans, and trucks of varying sizes.
    • Drive delivery vehicle to the destination, ensuring route efficiency and safety.
    • Make deliveries to/from our warehouse, supply shops, and to multiple construction sites in the Central Ohio area and beyond as required.
    • Interact / communicate with our Shop Coordinator and Jobsite Personnel
    • Assist with miscellaneous work needs in the Warehouse.
    • Follow OSHA and company safety standards.
    • Other duties, as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record. CDL is NOT required.
    • Central Ohio/Regional travel required. Vehicle will be provided.
    • Willing to work in outdoor working conditions as needed.
    • Good communication skills.
    • Professional demeanor.
    • Regular and Reliable attendance is expected.
    • Accountable work ethic.
    • Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required.
