About the Role:
GSS Clean Up & Restoration Inc is looking for a skilled Mitigation Technician to join our growing team in Glendora, CA! This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference by helping homeowners and businesses recover from water, fire, and mold damage. Responsibilities:

• Perform water, fire, and mold mitigation and remediation services on residential and commercial properties
• Set up and monitor drying equipment including air movers, dehumidifiers, and air scrubbers
• Conduct moisture readings and document damage using industry-standard tools and software
• Perform controlled demolition including removal of damaged drywall, flooring, and insulation
• Communicate professionally with property owners and insurance adjusters throughout the restoration process
• Follow IICRC standards and safety protocols on every job site
• Respond to emergency service calls, including after-hours and weekend assignments as needed

Requirements:

• Prior experience in water damage mitigation, restoration, or a related field preferred
• Knowledge of IICRC guidelines and restoration industry best practices
• Ability to operate drying equipment, moisture meters, and thermal imaging cameras
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong physical stamina — ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined or challenging environments
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-first attitude
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and emergency on-call shifts
