Construction Project Administrator

Busy & Growing Mechanical Construction company looking for an energized and motivated individual for the position of Project Administrator to join our team.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $40,000.00 to $50,000.00 per year, Salary commensurate with experience

Responsibilities:
Assist project team on construction documents generation, processing, execution, submission, tracking, scan and file
Prepare and review contract specs and drawings, site safety, field documents and forms
Generate, submit, and track submittals and RFIs, change orders, permits, logs, transmittals
Prepare project close out documents, manuals, warranties, training videos and sign sheets, transmittals, and attic stocks
Correspond, Communicate, and follow up with Owner/CM/GC and Subcontractors/Vendors

Qualifications:
Must have strong background in Mechanical Engineering
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is A Plus
Self-motivated with excellent time and project management skills
Strong professional communication and organization skills
Ability to work within an environment with deadlines while having to multi-task with changing priorities

Experience with Public Construction Projects (i.e. SCA, DDC, NYCHA, DASNY, MTA) = A PLUS
Experience with NYC School Construction Authority SCA = A MAJOR PLUS
Familiarity with Procore or similar = A PLUS
