Construction Project Manager - Hartford, CT

• • • Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through project completion.
    • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasting reports.
    • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and internal project teams.

    • Ensure jobsite safety standards and quality control procedures are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Resolve project challenges proactively and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and trade partners.
    • Support project closeout activities, including punch list completion, final documentation, and turnover.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record managing commercial construction projects for a general contractor. They will possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications include:

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager within commercial construction.
• Experience overseeing projects valued between $5M and $50M+.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
• Experience with healthcare, education, corporate interiors, retail, or institutional projects is preferred.
• Ability to effectively manage subcontractors and client relationships.
• Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively with project teams while maintaining ownership of project outcomes.
