Job Overview:
Search Solution Group is seeking a Contract Recruiter on behalf of our client, a privately held, employee- and customer-centric provider of home services specializing in residential and light commercial HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and generator services. Based in Charlotte, NC, this role plays a critical part in supporting high-volume hiring efforts across multiple regions. The Contract Recruiter will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and placing qualified candidates into essential field roles that directly support branch operations and service delivery. This position is ideal for a recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and enjoys building strong partnerships with hiring managers and leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Full-Cycle Recruitment
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for 50-55 requisitions across multiple regions
  • Partner with Hiring Managers and Regional HR Managers to align on job requirements and hiring strategies
  • Conduct intake meetings to clarify role expectations and success profiles
Sourcing & Talent Outreach
  • Source active and passive candidates using job boards, resume databases, social media, and referral programs
  • Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to attract qualified candidates for high-volume and corporate roles
  • Represent the organization at career fairs and recruitment events
Candidate Evaluation & Experience
  • Screen resumes and applications to assess qualifications and job fit
  • Conduct phone interviews and coordinate hiring manager interviews
  • Manage candidate communications to ensure a smooth and professional experience throughout the hiring process
Offer & Recruitment Operations
  • Extend offer letters and coordinate the offer process with hiring leaders
  • Maintain accurate records in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms
  • Track and report weekly recruiting metrics and updates
  • Ensure all recruitment activities meet compliance and documentation standards
Requirements include:

Education:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition
  • Strong background in high-volume and/or multi-location recruiting
  • Experience managing a heavy requisition load while maintaining quality and efficiency
  • Prior experience in home services, skilled trades, or similar industries is a plus
Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, written, and active listening skills
  • Behavioral interviewing and candidate assessment skills
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organization and time management skills
Certifications:
  • Not required
Knowledge:
  • High-volume recruiting best practices
  • Skilled trades and home services industry (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) preferred
  • Recruiting compliance and documentation standards
  • Candidate sourcing strategies across multiple platforms
