Key Responsibilities for the Controller:


• Oversee general ledger activity, month-end close, and overall accounting operations.
• Lead, develop, and mentor a team of accounting and finance professionals.
• Manage external, regulatory, and statutory financial reporting requirements.
• Support audits, compliance initiatives, and key finance projects.
• Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and system enhancements.
• Partner with executive leadership on financial strategy and operational initiatives.

Qualifications for the Controller:


• Prior Controller experience or progressive accounting leadership experience.
• Strong background in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and audit support.
• Experience within financial services, banking, credit union, or a highly regulated environment preferred.
• CPA designation strongly preferred.
