Meals prepared include meat, fish, fowl, vegetables, fruit, soups, salads, desserts, bread, and pastries, as specified and scheduled by the menus. The person holding this position is delegated the responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with current existing federal and state regulations and established company policies and procedures.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Handle and prepare food that is palatable, appetizing and attractiveEstablish practice of serving hot food hot and cold food coldCook a variety of foods in large quantitiesBe familiar with seasoning and cooking time requiredComply with meal schedulesMaintain and use equipment and suppliesWork cooperatively with other staff and departmentsWash pots, pans, and other equipment as used Qualifications:A minimum of an 8th grade educationAbility to pass a criminal background check as well as Colorado CAPS background check.
