This internship offers hands-on experience and exposure to corporate accounting at a Fortune 500 company. Working primarily with the corporate financial reporting team you will assist with preparing benefit plan statements drafting the 10-Q and other corporate accounting tasks and projects.Summary of ResponsibilitiesAssist in drafting financial statements and related disclosures including footnotes for inclusion in the Companys SEC Form 10-Q filing.Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules for multiple 401K and pension plans.Collaborate on the assessment of new GAAP and SEC guidelines.Assist with audit requests from internal and external auditors.Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.Participate in other ad hoc projects as requested.Minimum QualificationsEnrollment in a bachelors program in Accounting or Finance.Must have completed at least freshman year of study by the summer of 2027.Applicants for this position must be currently legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. is the largest flat-rolled steel company and the largest iron ore pellet producer in North America.
