Corporate Benefits Specialist

This is a contract role located in Rochester, NY, requires a 100% on-site schedule, M-Fr 8a-5p
Pay rate - $24.50

We are seeking a Corporate Benefits Specialist to support the daily administration of employee benefits programs. This role works with employees, internal teams, and benefit vendors to maintain accurate enrollments, resolve questions, and support a positive employee experience.

What You’ll Do

• Administer medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, well-being, COBRA, Section 125, retirement, and other voluntary benefit programs.

• Process benefit elections and changes for new hires, qualifying life events, leaves of absence, and beneficiary updates.

• Respond to employee and manager questions, working with Payroll, Legal, and benefit vendors to resolve issues.

• Support annual open enrollment, including system preparation, employee communications, vendor coordination, and issue resolution.

• Maintain benefit records and plan documents; monitor file feeds and prepare reports.

• Review vendor invoices for accuracy and timely payment.

• Support benefits system updates, process improvements, and new initiatives.

• Stay informed about benefit trends and recommend improvements to programs and employee support.

Qualifications

• Five years of Human Resources experience, including experience in a benefits administration role, required.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; candidates with five or more years of relevant experience may be considered in place of a degree.

• Strong attention to detail, organization, and customer service skills.

• Ability to coordinate with employees, internal departments, and external benefit providers.
