Cost Analyst

Position: Cost Analyst

Location: Tulsa, OK

Compensation: up to $90K

Strategic Business Consulting Services is currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cost Analyst to join our clients team.  The Cost Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and reporting on all aspects of company costs, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain cost analysis reports, including budget vs. actual, variance analysis, and cost of goods sold

- Identify and analyze cost drivers and recommend cost-saving opportunities

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data

- Assist in the development and implementation of cost control measures

- Monitor and report on inventory levels and costs

- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of cost data

- Prepare and present cost analysis reports to senior management

- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices related to cost analysis

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cost analysis or related field

- Strong understanding of financial principles and cost accounting

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Proficient in MS Excel and other financial software

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Experience in manufacturing industry is a plus
