Cost Estimator

Location: Remote, Washington, DC

Duration: 8+ months

The role involves providing cost estimation, knowledge sharing, and contract management services using the Galorath SEER software suite. You will support the development and maintenance of an IT lifecycle cost estimate and assist in documentation and presentation support.

Day-to-day Responsibilities:

• Assess products and procedures for compliance with government standards and accounting principles.
• Support development and maintenance of the IT lifecycle cost estimate using Galorath SEER.
• Prepare milestone documentation and presentations for senior managers and Government stakeholders.
• Support knowledge sharing sessions on SEER software suite components.
• Assist in financial management reporting, obligation/expenditure forecasting, and cost projections.

Required Skills:

• Cost/price analysis, activity-based costing, GAO cost estimating best practices (GAO-20-195G), financial documentation & presentations

Preferred Skills:

• Galorath SEER (SEER-IT, SEER-H, SEER-SYS, SEER-SEM), parametric cost modeling, lifecycle cost estimation

Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, or related field required; 5 years relevant experience in cost/price analysis.
