A nonprofit organization is seeking a CRM Operations Specialist to manage fundraising data and support its corporate and foundation fundraising team. This role oversees database usage, maintains data quality, improves workflows, and provides reporting, training, and administrative support.
The ideal candidate has experience managing fundraising databases, advanced knowledge of Raiser’s Edge, and the ability to translate business needs into database processes and automation.
Responsibilities
Manage Raiser’s Edge NXT usage, coding, and integrations with other fundraising systems.
Maintain and improve the flow of data between fundraising platforms.
Create Power Automate workflows to support administrative tasks, including donor acknowledgment letters.
Maintain the grant calendar and automate tasks and reminders.
Establish data hygiene procedures to ensure accurate and consistent records.
Provide fundraising staff with timely data, reporting definitions, and guidance on database capabilities.
Evaluate business needs and recommend improvements to fundraising data processes.
Provide CRM training and user support.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and database documentation.
Coordinate meetings, maintain records and files, and assist with correspondence and materials.
Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and consultants.
Support special projects and other administrative priorities as needed.
Required Qualifications
At least five years of database management experience in a fundraising environment.
Advanced knowledge of Raiser’s Edge 7 and Raiser’s Edge NXT.
Knowledge of SQL.
Understanding of basic fundraising and accounting principles.
Experience gathering stakeholder requirements and translating them into actionable processes.
Ability to prioritize requests and manage competing responsibilities.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to learn new technologies and support their adoption.
Experience collaborating with colleagues, vendors, and consultants.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
Experience with Microsoft Power BI and Power Automate.
Experience supporting database migrations and post-launch change management.
