Lodestone is retained on a search for trader to join a geniunly world class team on behalf of a well-capitalised proprietary trading house in Geneva.

The Role

The desk trades across power, gas, carbon, and some oil.  The team is looking to add one trader with genuine depth in at least one of these markets. Depending on experience this 

Two profiles are of interest:

• A power trader with hands-on modelling experience, someone who has built models before, understands different time frames, and can think across the power complex.
• A strong options trader with abackground in structured energy products — who can originate trade ideas.

What They're Looking For

• 2–10 years of relevant trading experience, ideally from a utility, prop shop, or smaller fund
• Genuine understanding of power modelling and market structure
• Python or coding capability is useful, not essential depending on profile
• Commercially sharp, independently minded, capable of working within a tight, high-performing team

Location: Geneva (on-site)

Compensation: Guaranteed % of PnL participation structure with fixed cost agreed upfront. Discretionary arrangements considered for more junior profiles.
