Job Title: CT Technologist (CT Tech)
Location: Gastonia, NC
Duration: 13 Weeks
Hours: 37.5 Hours/Week
Shift: Night Shift – 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (Wed, Thu, Fri)
On-Call: Approximately 2 times per month
Floating: Required between nearby locations as needed
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CT Technologist to perform high-quality computed tomography imaging procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, patient care skills, and the ability to work independently during night shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans and related imaging procedures to produce high-quality cross-sectional images
- Operate CT imaging equipment safely and efficiently
- Administer IV contrast and ensure patient safety during procedures
- Demonstrate knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging techniques
- Follow established imaging protocols and exercise professional judgment
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Provide excellent patient care using AIDET communication principles
- Assist with general radiologic procedures as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
Equipment & Work Environment:
- Advanced CT imaging equipment including high-performance scanners
- Fast-paced imaging department with a strong focus on quality and patient care
- Collaboration with radiologists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Qualifications & Requirements:
- ARRT Registered Technologist with CT certification – R.T.(R)(CT)(ARRT) required
- Prior CT experience required
- Competency in IV contrast administration required
- Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
- Flexibility to float between nearby facilities as needed
