WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Write and adapt standards-aligned curriculum for grades K-5. You'll create engaging lesson plans, assessments, and student materials that foster language and literacy development.
Key Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
Bachelor's degree in English, education, or related field
Familiarity with AI tools and comfort learning new software platforms
Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) and English Language Proficiency Standards (ELPS)
Strong familiarity with the US K-12 education system preferred
Excellent writing skills required, educational writing experience preferred
Exceptional attention to detail
Commitment to educational equity
Comfort with project management tools and deadlines
Commitment to organizational mission and inclusion
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to manage, prioritize, and multitask
Ability to navigate ambiguity and meet frequent deadlines
Ability and willingness to work up to 50 hours per week based on project needs and deadlines
Sense of humor and ability to work in a dynamic environment
Experience (professional, internship, or volunteer) in teaching preferred
