Customer Service Agent - Port Palm Beach

WHAT YOU’LL DO

· Welcome guests at the terminal, answer questions and give clear directions

· Keep guest lines organized and moving through check-in and security

· Support check-in on cruise line tablets and systems, including reviewing ID and travel documents

· Guide arriving guests to luggage, tour buses, shuttles, taxis and rideshare

· Help guests who need extra assistance, including families, older travellers and guests with disabilities

· Follow safety and security procedures set by the port and cruise line

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

MUST HAVE

· 18 years of age or older

· Customer service experience in hospitality, retail, restaurant, travel, events or a similar field

· Fluent English, spoken and written

· Comfortable using tablets and smartphones

· Available early mornings and weekends; holidays a plus

· Reliable transportation to the port

· Able to pass a background check and obtain port credentials, including TWIC or port ID where required

NICE TO HAVE

· Cruise, airport, hotel or tourism experience

· A second language, especially Spanish, Portuguese, German, French or Italian

YOU’LL DO WELL HERE IF YOU ARE

· Friendly and patient with every guest

· Punctual and detail-oriented

· Calm when the terminal gets busy

· Comfortable being on your feet for most of the shift, indoors and outdoors on the pier, in all weather conditions

· Able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

· Available for shifts that may start as early as 5:00 a.m. and vary with ship schedules
