Customer Service Representative III

Description:

This position is responsible for improving data collection and quality by promoting the use of immtrac2, analyzing registry data quality reports, and targeting organizations with issues to enhance vaccine coverage rates. Proficient in Microsoft excel, word, and PowerPoint, with skills in using VLOOKUP, developing and maintaining pivot tables, creating dashboards and summary reports and monitoring error reports, and monitoring error reports with corresponding follow-up actions. Will perform other duties as assigned. Must have a valid Texas Driver's License and comply with AP 2-2 policy.

SPECIFICATIONS
Note: It is mandatory that all Houston Health Department Temporary Employees are REQUIRED to be current on their vaccinations. Upon your initial visit to Employee Health, expect to receive a Tuberculosis Skin Test, administration of vaccines that are not up to date, and blood work if needed.

Necessary needs before seeing Houston Health Department Nurse:

• BRING IMMUNIZATION RECORDS (Shot records)
• Eat and Hydrate before reporting to Employee Health for blood

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE Requires a high school diploma or a GED

EXPERIENCE: Three years of administrative or customer service-related experience are required.

PHYSICAL EFFORT: The position is physically comfortable most of the time with occasional periods of stooping, bending and/or light lifting of materials of up to 10 pounds. In the Houston Permitting Center, the position may require lifting of moderately heavy items, such as plans (up to 40 pounds)

WORK ENVIRONMENT: There are occasional minor discomforts from exposure to less-than-optimal temperature and air conditions. The position may involve dealing with modestly unpleasant situations, as with occasional exposure to office chemicals and/or extensive use of a video display terminal

PHYSICAL SKILL: Requires the ability to make coordinated gross motor movements in response to changing external stimuli within moderately demanding tolerances; or the ability to make coordinated eye/hand movements on a patterned response space within low tolerance demands with no real speed requirements.
