Position Summary

This position is responsible for daily bin counts, inventory verification, inbound/outbound material / shipments support, material movement, and last-minute part support in a manufacturing warehouse environment. Once the formal cycle count program is launched, the role will transition from daily bin counts into scheduled cycle counting while continuing to support shipping/receiving and 2nd shift material needs.

1) Inventory Accuracy / Bin Counts

· Perform daily counts in assigned warehouse, stockroom, production, and point-of-use locations

· Verify part numbers, quantities, units of measure, labels, and bin locations against NetSuite records

· Document results and escalate shortages, overages, damaged material, mixed parts, or location errors

· Support root cause review of discrepancies

· Help prepare for cycle counting by validating locations, improving labeling, and identifying high-risk inventory areas

2) Shipping, Receiving & 2nd Shift Support

· Receive incoming shipments during 2nd shift coverage, verify packing slips, inspect for visible damage, and complete or support receiving transactions in NetSuite.

· Route received material to proper storage, quality hold, production areas, staging locations

· Pick, pack, label, and stage outbound shipments as needed, ensuring parts, quantities, paperwork, and shipping requirements are accurate.

· Support carrier coordination by preparing shipments for pickup, organizing dock/staging areas, and communicating shipment status or issues to the appropriate team members.

· Pull, stage, and deliver last-minute parts required by 2nd shift production

3) General Warehouse Duties

· Support kitting, replenishment, material transfers, put-away, line-side delivery, and stock organization

· Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, scanners, scales, and other WHSE equipment safely as qualified

· Maintain clean aisles, accurate labels, organized storage areas, and proper material identification

· Follow all safety, quality, 5S, inventory control, and material handling procedures

Qualifications / Expectations

  • Prior warehouse experience preferred
  • Material handling, receiving, inventory control, or manufacturing experience preferred
  • Must be able to read part numbers, packing slips, work orders, pick lists, and inventory reports
  • Use basic computer, scanner, and NetSuite tools
  • Communicate effectively with Warehouse, Production, Purchasing, Quality, and Operations teams
  • Work independently with strong attention to detail
  • PIT experience preferred; if not, become forklift certified if not already certified (Reach, Sit Down, Turret, Electric Pallet Jack)
  • Gantry Crane experience a plus
  • Ability to lift/move materials according to company safety guidelines
  • Netsuite / Oracle / MS Office Suite experience a plus
